Found this site after looking for a differential repair bracket for my truck. Tim answered my emails and shipped quickly, I’ll use his site again if I need any other products he offers.
The diff bracket is a heavy duty piece and I’m glad I went with it over the competitors. You don’t have to drill into the diff and worry about the chips getting into the gears or loosing the nut inside if it ever backed off. It just attaches to a rib on the outside of the diff, and I think its a better design. Only problem i had was it hit the motor mount so I had to clearance the bracket but shouldn’t affect the strength IMO. I’m not sure if this is a 2001 diesel issue but it worked perfectly in the end. Only thing that would make this product better would be if it included hardware.
