stock coil  on factory gm strut












1. remove factory coil and retaining
ring.
















2. place mcgaughys drop coil
retainer on this retainer by itself will
drop your vehicle 2inches











3. you can add one spacer to lift the
vehicle 1/2 an inch.













or you can add 2 spacers to get 1
inch of lift







when purchased in a kit you could
go anywhere from 3 to 4 inches of
drop using a quality factory shock.  
and factory coil  
you will trim the bump stop on  the
strut just like you would when
installing a drop coil.  
it is not recomended to use this
item with drop coils, if you have
drop coils and wish to install this
you can just need to get some
factory coils.
